الملخص
الملخص: الاستشراق ظاهرة ثقافية ومعرفية تغذيها طموحات اكتشاف الإنسان الغربي للشرق، ذلك الكون الجديد الذي سطعت منه شمس حضارة الإسلام، وأنارت بأشعتها ظلمات الجهل في أوربا، فصار لهذه الظاهرة كيان قائم بذاته له مؤسساته. فما هو الاستشراق؟ وما هي حقيقته؟ وما هي أهدافه ودوافعه؟ هل لمصطلح الاستشراق جذور في معاجم اللغة العربية القديمة؟ Orientalism is a cultural and cognitive phenomenon fueled by the aspirations of Western man to discover the Orient, that new universe, illuminated by the sun of the civilization of Islam, and which has illuminated with its light the darkness of ignorance in Europe . This phenomenon has become an existing entity with its institutions. What is orientalism? What is its truth? What are its objectives and goals? Does the term orientalism have its roots in old Arabic dictionaries?
