الملخص

This article discusses the archaeological research in Iraq on the effects of the flood and the background of its occurrence in southern Mesopotamia, considering that the ship from which Noah survived peace as mentioned in the Torah and the Koran and the various names in the legends of the ancient world docked in the north between the Iraqi-Iranian border And the Turkish at the beginning of the definition of the event language and terminology, and then addressed the reasons that led the two peoples to explore in Iraq, such as: faith in the Bible about the flood, especially since the Bible was devoted to this event four chapters (from Chapter 6 to Chapter), In addition to what was found about the myths of the flood of Sumerian and Babylonian spills translated from clay tablets, and also mentioned the flood as a teacher event in the lists of the Sumerian royal dynasties, which counted kings ruled before it happened and others ruled after it occurred, and finally touched on what reached archaeological excavations The flood cities are Ur, Kish and Shurupak, and floods may be one of Noah’s flood, peace be upon them, but they occurred at different periods and are not in line with the biblical flood, which confirms the flood does not include the earth as stated in the Torah.
