The present article was carried out to investigate the most important causes of cheating phenomenon which lead some of the students to cheat in an examination. To study objectively this phenomenon, we took some previous studies as an important starting point, all of these studies have concluded that there are different reasons behind cheating, some are related to the teachers themsevles, while others are related to the students and curriculum and some others are related to the educational system in general. In our research, we focused on the pedagogical factors, especially the teaching methods in the classroom. The results of this study indicated that the classical and bad strategies of teaching methods caussed the act of cheating in classroom.
