Creativity In Teaching: Between Theory And Practice

Abstract
creativiy is one of the most valuable factors that influence the teaching process. Through the global development and the current innovations, the concept creativity imposes itself in different fields including teaching; particularly, teaching English as foreign language. In addition, creativity brings change and it raises teaching achievements;therefore, it is highly importatnt for English as foreign language teachers to be creative enough in their classrooms. Nevertheless, the connetion between theory and pratice is usually lost when teachers are using creativity in teaching. the main importance of this paper was to identify the importance of creativity to achieve successful teaching process. It attempted as well to highlight the gap between theory and practice in relation to creativity and to bridge the gap between them. As far as creativity is one of the most innovative trends in teaching English as foreign language, the current paper shed the light on the strategies that should be followed to bridge the gap between theory and practice for language teachers when it comes to the issue of creativity in teaching. يعتبر الابداع واحد من أكثر العوامل القيمة و التي تؤثر على العملية التعلمية. مع التطور العلمي, فرض مصطلح الابداع نفسه في مختلف الميادين ومنها التعليم و بالخصوص تعليم اللغة الانجليزية كلغة اجنبية. بالاضافة الى هذا, يأتي الابداع بالتغيير و يرفع مستوى الانجازات بالنسبة للجانب التعليمي. و لهذا فانه من المهم على اساتذة اللغة الانجليزية كلغة اجنبية أن يصبحو مبدعين في اقسامهم. لكن في الوقت الذي يستعمل فيه الاساتذة الابداع في تعليمهم, العلاقة بين ماهو نظري و ماهو تطبيقي أضحت دائما مفقودة. تمثلت أهمية هذه الورقة في تعريف أهمية الابداع للوصول الى مرحلة تعلمية ناجحة. وحاولت ايضا هذه الدراسة توضيح الثغرة الموجودة ين النظري و التطبيقي فيما يخص الابداع وملأ الفراغ الموجود بينهما. ولأن الابداع يعتبر واحد من أحدث الاتجاهات في تعليم اللغة الانجليزية كلغة أجنبية, فان هذه لورقة حاولت تسليط الضوء على الاستراتجيات التي يجب اتباعها لملأ الفراغ بين ماهو نظري وماهو تطبيقي للاساتذة في ما يتعلق بوضوع الابداع في التعليم
