Résumé

The aim of this study was to characterize the etiology in childhood-onset Temporal Lobe Epilepsy (TLE). 32 patients were identified with TLE. The patients had childhood-onset TLE before age 15 years. They have been observed January 2012 and December 2013. The age at seizure onset, onset seizure type, EEG, magnetic Resonance Imagings MRI, and their clinical evolution were studied. The results suggest that childhood-onset TLE patients with a significant antecedent are expected to have high risk of continued seizures.
