الملخص

This study sheds light on the relationship between public spending and economic growth through testing the validity of Keynesian hypothesis that recognizes that public expenditures are causing economic growth in Algeria during the period (1990-2014), using econometric approach, exactly VAR and testing causality. The study revealed a causal relationship between economic growth and public spending, so an applicability of the Keynesian hypothesis on the Algerian economy, that the economic growth causes the public spending in Algeria.
