ملخص: يقترح المقال تفسير للمسار غير الفعال للتنمية الاقتصادية في الجزائر من خلال الاعتماد على مقاربة مؤسساتية تاريخية لتطور المؤسسات الاقتصادية. الإرث الاستعماري مقترح كقناة للانتقال المؤسساتي للعقبات أمام التنمية في الجزائر. بعد تعريف المؤسسات الاقتصادية، نتناول التطور التاريخي للمؤسسات الاقتصادية منذ الاستقلال إلى يومنا هذا، مع التوضيح أن المؤسسات التي خلفها التاريخ تحدد التنمية الاقتصادية اللاحقة للبلد. Abstract: This article proposes an interpretation of the inefficient path of economic development in Algeria by appealing to a historical institutionalist explanation of the evolution of economic institutions. The colonial heritage is proposed as a channel of institutional transmission of blockages to development in Algeria. After defining the economic institutions, we discuss the historical evolution of economic institutions from independence to the present day, while showing that historic institutions are important for current economic development of the country.
