الملخلص تحقيق التراث فن من فنون الكتابة والتأليف ولهذا الفن قواعد ومناهج وله عدته الخاصة الدقيقة لتقديم المخطوط كما وضعه مؤلفه وإذا كان تحقيق النصوص له من الصعوبة والحذر بمكان فإن تحقيق مخطوطات الحديث أشد صعوبة وخصوصية لكون المحقق يتعامل مع مصدر من مصادر التشريع له قدسيته فهو نقل عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فكان لابد من التريث والإحاطة بكل ما يتعلق بقواعد التحقيق والتدقيق وما قدمه لنا علي بن محمد بن عبد الله اليونيني في تحقيق روايات " صحيح البخاري" للإمام البخاري ،ليعد مفخرة لعلمائنا القدامى، في التحقيق والضبط، وتحري الصواب ، وسلوك الطرق المختلفة للوصول إليه .
