الذكاء الانفعالي وعلاقته بمستوى الطموح لدى عينة من طلبة الجامعة

الملخص
هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى فحص العلاقة بين الذكاء الانفعالي ومستوى الطموح لدى طلبة الجامعة، وتحديد ما إذا كان هناك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في الذكاء الانفعالي ومستوى الطموح وفقا لمتغير الجنس. شملت عينة الدراسة 187 طالب جامعي (146اناث و41 ذكور)، ولتحقيق اهداف البحث استخدمت الباحثة مقياسين هما مقياس الذكاء الانفعالي لـشات واخرون ومقياس مستوى الطموح من اعداد معوض وعبد العظيم (2005). وبعد معالجة البيانات بواسطة برنامج الرزم الإحصائية في العلوم الاجتمــــــــاعية (الاصدار،20)، اظهرت النتائج ما يلي: 1- عدم وجود فروق دالة احصائيا في الذكاء الانفعالي تعزى لمتغير الجنس. 2- عدم وجود فروق دالة احصائيا في مستوى الطموح تعزى لمتغير الجنس. 3- وجود علاقة ارتباطيه موجبة دالة إحصائيا بين أبعاد الذكاء الانفعالي ومستوى الطموح. 4- تعد ابعاد الذكاء الانفعالي(تنظيم الانفعالات واستعمال الانفعالات) منبئا بمستوى الطموح لدى طلبة الجامعة. Abstract The present research aimed at examining the relationship between emotional intelligence and level of ambition among university students. It also aimed at revealing whether there were statistically significant differences in emotional intelligence and level of ambition according to the gender variable. The sample of this research was consisted of 187 university students (141 female and 46 male). To meet research goal, the researcher used two scales: emotional intelligence scale of Schutte & al(1997) and the level of ambition scale prepared by Muawad and Abdul Azim(2005). After analyzing the data using the statistical packages for social sciences program (SPSS, version 20), the result showed: 1- There were no statically significant differences in emotional intelligence due to the gender variable. 2- There were no statically significant differences in level of ambition due to the gender variable. 3- There was a significant positive correlation between the dimensions of emotional intelligent and the level of ambition. 4- The dimensions of the emotional intelligence (the regulation of emotion and the utilization of emotion) were predictors of level of ambition among university students.
