الملخص
أقر ميثاق الأمم المتحدة مسألة دور الحضارات المتنوعة في إرساء قيم السلم وتعزيز التعاون الدولي من أجل الحفاظ عليه، ومنها الحضارة العربية الإسلامية بما تحمله من موروث حضاري ثري وقيم تتطابق مع توجهات الإنسانية وفقا للرؤيا المعاصرة. خاصة في شقه المتعلق بتسوية النزاعات الدولية، للبحث في إمكانية الدور الذي قد تؤديه الشريعة الإسلامية في تسوية النزاعات الدولية، وفقا لمبادئه في إطار النظام الحالي القائم على أساس مبادئ القانون الدولي. The Charter of the United Nations recognizes the role of diverse civilizations in the establishment of the values of peace and the promotion of international cooperation in order to preserve it, including the Arab-Islamic civilization, with its rich cultural heritage and values that correspond to the trends of humanity in accordance with the contemporary vision. Particularly what concerns the resolution of international disputes, and addressing the role that Islamic law may play in this latter, in accordance with its principles within the framework of the existing system based on the principles of international law
