الملخص
هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى دراسة العوامل الخمسة الكبرى للشخصية وعلاقتها ببعض المتغيرات الديموغرافية لدى أسر المعاقين عقلياً ، ولتحقيق هذا الهدف استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي ، تكونت عينة الدراسة من (200) من أباء وأمهات المعاقين عقلياً المسجلين في معهد المستقبل والآفاق الأوسع لذوي الإعاقة للعام 2014- 2015م تم اختيار عينة الدراسة عن طريق الحصر الشامل، وجد الباحث أن عامل المقبولية الاجتماعية كان أكثر تأثيراً في أبعاد العوامل الخمسة الكبرى للشخصية لدى أسر الأطفال المعاقين عقلياً. ولم تتبين فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الآباء والأمهات في العوامل الخمسة الكبرى للشخصية، من توصياتها: توفير برامج توعية وتأهيل الآباء والأمهات وأولياء الأمور لإتباع الأساليب الحديثة في التنشئة ، بغية تنمية الاستعدادات اللازمة للتوافق النفسي. The five major factors of personality and its relationship to some demographic variables among the families of the mentally handicapped Abstract This study aimed to study the five big factors of personality and its relationship to some demographic variables among the families of the mentally handicapped, To achieve this goal, the researcher used descriptive analytical method, The study sample consisted of (200) of parents of mentally handicapped enrolled in the Institute for the Future and the broader prospects for persons with disabilities for the year 2014-2015. The study sample was selected by the total number, Researcher found that the social acceptability was the most influential factor in the dimensions of the five major factors of personality to the families of the mentally handicapped children. It did not identify statistically significant differences between fathers and mothers in the five major personality factors, Of its recommendations: Provide awareness programs and rehabilitation of parents and guardians to follow modern methods of upbringing, with a view to the necessary preparations for the psychological development of consensus.
