الملخص
لا شك أن قيام مغرب عربي موحد هو في الواقع نتيجة حتمية لما يربط شعوب المنطقة من أواصر الإخاء والتقارب من وحدة التاريخ ولغة ومعتقد ونمط عيش وخصائص حضرية مشتركة يقصد بمصطلح المغرب الرقعة من الأرض الواقعة في الشمال الغربي للقارة الإفريقية وتتضمن حاليا الكيانات المستخدمة التي تنحصر في نطاقها والمتمثلة في الجزائر، تونس، ليبيا، المغرب، موريتانيا، أطلق عليها عدة تسميات وهي: بلاد البربر، الشمال الإفريقي، المغرب الإسلامي، المغرب العربي، وقد اتخذ مؤخراً صيغة جديدة حيث تسمى (المغرب العربي الكبير)، كما أن فكرة المغرب العربي ليست وليدة القرن الحاضر بل هي راسخة في أعماق التاريخ المغاربي وتأخر فكرة ميلاد المغرب العربي نتيجة لمسايرتها ظروف الكفاح الوطني لشعوب شمال إفريقيا. ويمثل التكامل المغاربي بلا ريب حتمية تاريخية إذ بد من النضال من أجل الوحدة والاستفادة من المقومات التي تحلم بها أكبر التكتلات الاقتصادية وبناء نسيج جيوسياسي، ثقافي، اجتماعي، وحتى اقتصادي من خلال القيود والمعوقات والتخلص من الخلافات السياسية بالإضافة لتسهيل عملية التبادل بين بلدان المغاربة لإنعاش التجارة المغاربية بدلا من المنافسة والاختفاء بالحل الانفرادي.
