الملخص
Many historical studies were written on the French Campaign on Egypt in 1798 and Algeria in 1830, although there is no historical study comparing the two campaigns despite the great similarity between them in terms of goals and dimension. Through this study we will try to compare between these two campaigns by asking a number of questions, most notably: What are the most important commonalities between the two campaigns? What are the most prominent points of differences? Why did France fail in its military campaign against Egypt and succeeded in Algeria?
