دراسة تحليلية للأسئلة المتضمنة في كتب تعليم اللغة العربية لغير الناطقين بها في المملكة العربية السعودية سلسلة (العربية للعالم) نموذجا

الملخص

Abstract: The current research aimed to analyze the questions in (Arabic for the World) series which are the main books for the students of the Arabic Linguistics Institute - King Saud University. The researcher designed an objective tool to analyze the questions of these books in the light of: Bloom's cognitive levels, the type of questions (oral – written), and the pattern of objective questions. The researcher used the analytical descriptive method. The research sample consisted of five books from "the Arabic for the World" series (level one to level four, in addition to the special part related to teaching Arabic for specific purposes). The findings of the research showed that the majority of questions focus on the second and the third levels of the cognitive objectives levels according to Bloom's taxonomy namely; comprehension and application. The findings also revealed the lack of oral questions compared to written questions, and the lack of essay questions compared to objective ones. The study also indicated the imbalance in the types of objective questions where the results were in favor for the completion questions rather than the other types.
