Use Of The Goal Programming To Reduce Cost, Time And Optimization In The Production Lines Of The General Company For Electrical Industries In Iraq

Abstract
This research uses operations research techniques to achieve optimal solution for the production plan in the factory . It uses the goal programming method due to its ability in solving real problems by considering different goals at the same time instead of one goal to achieve optimality by using four different objective functions namely maximization of profit quantity and minimizing of cost and time of operation of the five different assemblies (Front end shield assembly ,Rearend shield assembly , stator assembly , rotor assembly and board swatch assembly ), that make the final assembly of the motor . It used the software package (Win QSB Version 2) to obtain the optimal solution . The optimal solution maximizes profit by (1351)ID, minimizes cost by (32%) , minimizes production time by (7%) and increases production by (60) units.
