Multipliers Linkages And Key Sectors For Algerian Economy 1989

Abstract

The developpement strategy for the Algerian economy in the 1980s was based on the establishment of small-and medium-scale industrial units the effectiveness of this policv is assessed, using multiplier and linkage analysis It is concluded that the strategy was not effective largely because only 19.2 % of total intermediate production was associated with song forward and backward linkages.
