مدينة وهران من خلال كتابات الجغرافيين والرحالة والمؤرخين

الملخص
تقع مدينة وهران شمال غرب الجزائر على ساحل البحر المتوسط، تأسست العام 290 ه/ 903 م من طرف بحارة أندلسيين بمساعدة قبيلتين مجاورتين للمدينة هما قبيلتا نفزة وبني مسقن، وقد شهدت تطورا وازدهارا معتبرا كغيرها من مدن الجزائر الواقعة على الساحل خلال العصر الوسيط ثم الحديث، وشكلت أحد أهم الموانئ للمغرب الأوسط خاصة خلال العهد الموحدي ثم الزياني. وخلال فترة قصيرة بعد تأسيسها أضحت وهران مدينة مهمة حظيت باهتمام وإعجاب عديد الرحالة والجغرافيين والمؤرخين، والذين قدموا لنا نصوصا سلطت الضوء على مختلف الجوانب المتعلقة بوهران سواء التاريخية أو الاجتماعية أو الجغرافية أو العمرانية أو المعمارية، وهي نصوص لا يمكن الاستغناء عنها بحال لكل مشتغل بالآثار. The City of Oran through the Writings of Geographers, Travellers and Historians The city of Oran, located on the Mediterranean coast in the north-west of Algeria, was founded by the Andalusian sailors with the help of two neighbouring tribes of the city, Nafza and Beni Maskan, in the beginning of the 10th century AD. It witnessed a significant development and prosperity as other cities of Algeria on the coast during the intermediate and modern era and formed one of the most important ports of the central Maghreb, especially during the Almouhdi era and then the Zayani. In a short period after its establishment, Oran has become an important city which has received the attention and admiration of many travellers, geographers and historians, who have given us texts highlighting various aspects relating to Oran, whether historical, social, geographical or architectural, which are indispensable for each researcher in archaeology.
