الملخص

The French left position in the French Socialist Party (SIFO) and the French Communist Party (PCF) on the Algerian question before the great revolution of 1954 hesitated between the right of peoples to self-determination and integrate Algeria to France, this policy is based on the dimensions of the more pragmatic What was the reaction of the French left Algeria war, despite happened in this war a abused and violations and deviations from the values and principles of the republic and the French revolution? The French left has continued along the lines of its traditional policy, not only opposed to the independence of Algeria, but to install the machine after taking the criminal government in 1965( torture, genocide, extrajudicial executions, arrests...) to death with the Algerian revolution after coming to power in 1956.This position is reflected in the deviation of the French left-wing parties of their principles and values, which pushed the grassroots headed by young intellectuals to criticize and declare a break with their parties and take the fights against the war in Algeria and its crimes, and to give birth to a new left party(PSU). Tans said that the extreme left (Trotskyites, Anarchists and Libertarians) remain faithful to the principles of communist internationalism whose support the struggles of peoples for liberation and cope with colonialism, this has prompted the current extreme left supporting Algerian revolution.
