الملخص
الملخص: دشّن الرومان باحتلال قرطاجة (Carthago) سنة 146 ق.م. عهداً استعمارياً طويلاً لبلاد المغرب القديم، إذ اعتبر إخضاعها إيذاناً بمصير مشابه لبقية ممالك بلاد المغرب. فبعد تحويلهم لأملاك الدولة القرطاجية إلى مقاطعة إفريقية، تدخلوا لتسوية أوضاع المملكة النوميدية إثر وفاة ماسينيسا سنة 148 ق.م.، مما يبرز طموحهم في الهيمنة عليها، ومن ثم التوسع غرباً لاحتلال موريطانيا. ومما يسفرعن هذه السياسة الاستعمارية تكالب الرومان على يوغرطة الذي قبض عليه إثر مؤامرة شارك فيها صهره بوخوس الأول ملك موريطانيا. هذا وتميزت السياسة الرومانية في هذه الفترة أيضا بالمهادنة أحيانا والتحالف الممزوج بتحريض السكان المحليين ضد بعضهم بعضا إلى غاية سنة 46 ق.م. بحيث تم احتلال نوميديا، ثم قام الإمبراطور كاليغولا « Caligula » بعد مرور حوالي مائة سنة باغتيال بطليموس ملك موريطانيا، والسيطرة على المملكة رسميا في سنة 40م. Abstract: The Romans launched the conquest of Carthago in 146 BC. A long colonial era for the ancient Maghreb, considering it subject to a fate similar to the rest of the Kingdoms of the land of Maghreb. After converting them to the property of the Carthaginian state to an African province, they intervened to settle the situation of the Numid kingdom after the death of Massinissa in 148 BC, highlighting their ambition to dominate it, and then expanding westward to the occupation of Mauretania. This colonial policy is rooted in the Romans' capture of Juguratha, who was arrested following a conspiracy involving his son-in-law, Bochus I of Mauretania. The Roman policy in this period was also characterized by the appeasement of the times and the mixed alliance of inciting the local population against each other until the year 46 BC. So that Numidia was occupied, and then the Emperor Caligula, about 100 years after the assassination of Ptolémée, the king of Mauretania, and officially control the Kingdom in the year 40 AD.
