Abstract

It is highly agreed that students expect teachers to teach them the English language as if they are empty ‘sponges’ waiting for their teachers to fill with knowledge. Unfortunately, to transmit lexical items, grammatical structures, and communication strategies into the blank minds sitting passively in front of them, teachers have tried with little success.
