Abstract

EFL teachers are aware that teaching a foreign language as English is not an easy task because it requires from them providing an effective practice that satisfies their learners’needs. Thus, it is necessary to tackle the factors that ensure such effectiveness especially in practising oracy skills as well as listening. In this context, thoughts are oriented towards the most useful teaching devices that can be used in order to primarily improve EFL learners’ aural abilities and a considerable number of views have supported audio visual means as functional devices for listening practice. Hence, the present study is done in order to examine the usefulness of these technological tools in developing EFL learners’ listening abilities.
