Because of the political instability, the inhabitants of Western Sahara have found refuge in the Algerian town Tindouf, since 1975. And there, even if they have a social and political antagonism’s situation, they are still fighting for their culture, identity and language. However, our research is interested in the theoretical framework of sociolinguistics. We analyze the variety of Spanish Sahrawi refugees but also other phenomena that identify Sahrawi speakers to the rest of Spanish-speaking regions. We met in front of one of the varieties of Spanish that is still changing, still influenced by several factors: contact with the Hassani dialect, social and political conflict and others.
