Abstract
Abstract: this study aims to examine the role of monetary policy in achieving sustainable development by analyzing the impact of some monetary policy instruments such as the rate of re-discounting and the rate of exchange (a channel for reporting monetary policy) on the most important indicators of sustainable development, economical index (GDP per capita), social index (unemployment rate), environmental index (agricultural land) and, finally, a corporate index (number of Internet subscribers per million inhabitants).
