Parodie électorale Et Enjeux Identitaires Dans Au Nom De La Terre De Maurice Bandaman

Résumé
Cet article vise à montrer que Bandaman Maurice, dans Au nom de la terre, met en scène le jeu électoral tel qu’il se pratique en Afrique et particulièrement dans les démocraties factices. Cette dérision des démocraties africaines s’accompagne, chez le dramaturge, de la récurrente et persistante question de l’identité citoyenne avec son corollaire de tragique. L’enjeu identitaire qui fait agir les personnages est dédoublé par celui d’une écriture en rupture avec celles des générations précédentes. Le dramaturge ivoirien s’arc-boute sur le fond culturel de son terroir pour donner à sa pièce théâtrale une envergure d’originalité et une identité dramaturgique. This article aims at showing that Bandaman Maurice, in the name of the ground, stages the electoral set, play such as he is practised in Africa and particularly in the artificial democracies. This mockery of the African democracies comes along, at the playwright, of recurring and persistent question of the identity citizen with its corollary of tragic. The identity stake which makes the character’s act is divided into halves by that of a writing in break with those of the previous generations. The Ivory Coast playwright arcboute on the bottom cultural of its country (soil) to give to its theatrical part, play a scale of originality and a dramaturgic identity.
