الملخص
تهدف توجهات دول المتوسط من خلال اعتمادها على الاقتصاد الأزرق إلى تعزيز تحولها نحو اقتصاد مستدام قائم على المحيط البحري، خصوصا و أن منطقة البحر الأبيض المتوسط تعتبر من أكبر مواقع التنوع البيولوجي في العالم وخامس أكبر اقتصاديات العالم، كما تشتمل على مجموعة كبيرة من النظم البيئية الساحلية والبحرية التي تعود بمنافع على سكانها الساحليين، والوصول بهذه الدول إلى تحقيق تنمية مستدامة بيئيا و اقتصاديا . Environmental degradation in the Mediterranean has led to a new approach towards preserving the region for sustainable environmental development and optimizing the region's natural capital for sustainable economic development, which is called the "blue economy". By adopting the blue economy, Mediterranean countries aim to promote their transition to a sustainable marine-based economy, especially as the Mediterranean is one of the world's largest biodiversity sites and the fifth largest in the world, and includes a wide range of coastal and marine ecosystems Which would benefit coastal populations and bring them to environmentally and economically sustainable development.
