Résumé

The study was conducted at the experimental station of the field crop institute ITGC of Setif during the 2010 /11 crop season. The objective was to compare the effect of three tillage systems on the development of physical soil properties and the crops behavior of durum wheat (Triticum durum, Desf.), Bousselem variety. The analysis-comparing test of the three cropping systems: Zero till (SD), conventional till (TC) and simplified techniques (TCS), was conducted in a complete randomized block design with three replications. The studied soil parameters were the evolution moisture during the plants growth cycle, the water infiltration rate and the agronomic culture aspects. The results showed that there was no effect of the system on the soil moisture. An advantage and a better soil permeability have been recognized in the TCS system. Zero till gave the best performance in plant growth and spark number per area unit. The results showed also that direct seeding had the highest infestation by weeds in wheat crop compared to the other systems.
