الملخص

This article aims to present a general concept of innovation and shed the light on its important and its role in various sectors, especially the service sectors such as tourism sector. This field is characterized by its novelty and development rapidity, which necessitated the use of different mechanisms of innovation that affect various aspects of tourism institutions. Also, it tried to show the relations between innovation and sport, then introduces the Clarke and Abernathy Model that describes the dimensions of innovation and divides it into specific types that can be used in the tourism field
