الملخص
A brief look to the Arabic’s steals for the French governor in Algeria’s Traditionally, the governors used to seal their letters and all the documents in which their words were reported to proof their credibility and to confirm the promises that have been made. It’s also reported that the Prophet Mohamed SAWS, was the first person using the seal when he sent a letter to the Roman Emperor, this tradition has been kept on by Muslims through the ages, but what catches the attention is the finding of documents, dating from the French period in Algeria, that have remnants of seals in Arabic language similar to those used by the Muslims. So what are the reasons that led the French governors to use the Arabic’s seals? And what are the texts, the titles and the slogans that came in it.
