الملخص
The third French republic (1870-1939) was characterised by the new settlement policy in line with the new plan of the agricultural production and the capitalist economic orientation which aimed in export and financial benefits, In addition to the French settlement movement support, thispolicy resulted in an enrichment of a large colonists class at the expense of citizens class which was affected economically and socially, resulting the emigration and the traditional decline and the emergence of ownership phenomenon.
