Résumé : Suite à la mondialisation du tabagisme, une convention traçant les grandes lignes d’une riposte mondiale coordonnée est installée depuis 2005, sous le nom de la CCLAT OMS. L’Algérie est le premier pays du Maghreb à avoir signé la CCLAT, à travers laquelle le cadre législatif et règlementaire antitabac devrait révéler les engagements de celle-ci en plus de s’adapter au contexte national. Est-ce réellement le cas ? Abstract Following the globalization of smoking, a convention outlining a coordinated global response has been in place since 2005 under the name of the WHO FCTC. Algeria is the first country in the Maghreb to sign the FCTC, through which the legislative and regulatory antitobacco framework should reveal the commitments of the latter and adapt to the national context. Is this really the case?
