الملخص
Since its independence, Algeria has attempted to mark its presence in the scene of Arabic heritage. It also marked bright stages in its progress, which reflected its supportive position to the Arabic heritage, and its high esteem to the scholars of the Ummah, who introduced brilliant models, mainly in manuscripts, which are one of the most important source of knowledge, and they are definitely indispensable for researchers. The state institutions illustrate these efforts through the works achieved thanks to the efforts of state institutions like the Ministry of religious Affairs, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Higher Education, in addition to individual achievements performed by Algerian scholars like Shaykh Muhamad Ibn Abi Shanab, Shaykh Mohamad Salah Ramadan and AbulKacem Saadallah, etc. who played an important role in serving the Arabic and Islamic Heritage, in Algeria, in particular and in the Arab world in general. The efforts of the orientalists were not limited to collecting and indexing but it went beyond that to editing an important part of the Algerian heritage
