This study discusses the development experienced comparative studies after its opening on the American school , exceeding the doctrines of the French school and the establishment of rules that take into account the interference of the literature ( from the point of view creative and critical) with the humanities, arts, and different means of linguistic and non-linguistic expressions . This school had goals that revolved around a main axis which is an overall vision that opens the text both internally and externally. And although the great figures of this schools have made ​​some methodological errors, their criticisms and ideas have contributed to a further step, the birth bolder ideas that led to comparative studies remain bright and regenerate with regeneration of human thought.
