الملخص
The problem of cultural mediation in translation and its role in it, along with the issue of the translator as a central linguistic and cultural mediator in the communicative process in the separate and related social and cultural fields at the same time, are two inevitably self-evident problems. So; They are not subject to discussion within the limits of this research, except within the limits required by the subject concerned. This study also attempts to address a very important and sensitive issue at the same time, which is the translation from Arabic into French, especially the translation of Algerian fiction literature. The translation of literary texts does not stop at the limit of knowledge of the language from which it is translated. Rather, the secrets of this language must be understood, in addition to having the ability to convey the writer’s own experience. Working on a foreign language calls for working on the thought of the other, its cultural norms, and the value of aesthetics.
