This study aims at the contribution of the family to the growth of knowledge in the child, which reflects positively on his school life. The study included a sample of 100 children randomly distributed to different neighborhoods, trying to escape from reality and feeling a sense of work in order to improve the role of the family, especially the role of father and mother in the process of cognitive growth. The study resulted in the following conclusions and suggestions: - The growth of knowledge of child is related to the social status. - Friction of the child in his family affects him positively in his cognitive development especially in the girls. The family must stimulate the child’s motivation
