الملخص
Abstract: The new media applications has createdasetofchallenges to traditional media ,both in terms of functions and roles ,or through the information practice . with this media reality more challenges had been raised concerning the nature of content and news published on its wide area , especialy the news values that control the process of arranging and selecting news. This study aims to reach themostimportantnewsvaluescontainedin Al-jazeera entries of facebook page. with the implementation of the descriptive method and the content analyses tool of 274 posts during one week , the study showed that Al-jazeera Channel focus on the timeliness and human interest values in addition to the conflict and proximity values , While the size of political topicsrisemore thanothersubjects and the channel , also, reliesonitsownsources , by the inclusion of news across multimedia andedititinclassicalarabic .
