Abstract The communication that I propose is the result of the analysis of Lebanese Amazigh textbooks in Algeria. This is a job I did with a group of colleagues as part of a CNEPU research. The purpose of this is to produce a school dictionary for the benefit of learners of this language. Indeed, during the analysis of these manuals and the collection of data, we found several advances for the language but also many gaps and anomalies in lexicon. Our study led us to present some proposals to fill these gaps and to finish by the realization of the said dictionary. This research, which is far from being exhaustive, is limited solely to the needs of the learner, expressed in different parts of these manuals.
