الملخص
This article tries to explain the role of civil society in the achievement of development and democracy, and to what extent can bet in achieving further development ambitions in the Arab region, especially after it became one of the key concepts in the science of democratic transition; so that, after a long absence of this concept in political and social discourse, and after the focus was on bilateral State / economic market, in many theories of development, he returned the talk today revolves around the concept of civil society, a new factor in democratic change, and more defined concept traded widely within the developmental feedback over two decades the last two, where it is assumed that civil society is active, has a positive role in promoting the development prospects, as well as being an important element in the democratization processes.
