This article gives a synopsis of teaching French in preparatory schools in Algeria. It is a general reflection on the role of the French language in the assimilation and the familiarization of Algerian students with the specific concepts and terminology of their specialty, preparing them to face the professional world, where they will work almost exclusively in French, as in the banks, the algerian and international companies and public institutions. Thus, our study concerns the teaching of the module of French language for students of first and second year at the Preparatory School of Economic, Commercial and Management Sciences of Oran.
