Summary : This paper attempts to shed light on the financing problem of small and medium-sized enterprises, both in the start-up phase and in the growth and expansion phase, in which the traditional loan system is still prevailing, and the proposal of a financing alternative derived from the Islamic banking system as a model. Which is represented in the ijara contract because of its characteristics in line with the nature of the small and medium enterprise
