Abstract
When one talks or writes about refugees in Algeria he has to be aware of the fact that there are no books or articles on this subject. I must admit that I came to conclusion that most writers give a little attention to human issues like the subject of refugees and focus on political issues only. Furthermore, it is astonishing that public agencies do not keep files or documented information which can be used as a reference. It is for such reasons that this paper will be based essentially on the information provide by the interviewees or the official records of the United Nations.
