الملخص
This article tries to look at the real impact of Algeria’s civil society vis –a- vis its role in the management of local development. It’s true that Algeria has developed enough legislation as regards the participation of civil socity in local development, but it seems that its efficiency is not that decisive. Many issues are looked at in this article such as the nature of overlapping relationship between civil society and local development, and the obstacles faced by civil society when it comes to its developmental functions, as well as a brief analysis concerning methods that should be taken into account to make Algeria’s civil society more efficient to carry on its local development tasks.
