Résumé

The photovoltaic solar energy produced in positive energy building can enhance the electrical energy in the grid, especially in suburban areas, which have a sufficient solar resource. The produced energy provides a solution to the problem of voltage drops especially during periods of high energy demand. This paper presents a case study of a residential building which produces the energy via a solar source in a suburban medium in Algeria. This study is to simulate the electrical energy performances based on actual data of power consumption of a dwelling located in the southeast of the town of Bouira. Calculations are performed using the Homer software, version 2.68 beta. The annual electric energy balance of the house shows that 63% of the energy is provided by the PV and only 37% is taken off the grid.
