الملخص

The study aimed to identify the concept of development and the role of the man and teacher in the development from the perspective of university students and the effect of variable sex. Using Scale appreciation consists of 24 items, applied to a sample of 183 students from sections of psychology and sociology at the University of Mascara and Relizane University Center, and the results were as follows: 1 - There is a good perception among students of the University of the concept of development and the negative perception of the role of man, and unsatisfactory for the role of the teacher. 2 - There is no statistically significant difference attributed to the sex variable in the perception of students.
