الملخص

ABSTRACT : The current study was to identify the extent of the effect of psychological stress among children with mental disabilities and the families of their impact on the academic achievement of ordinary for their children a sample of families of people with the special needs, and to achieve this goal has been to follow the descriptive and comparative by applying the scale of family stress among families with the son of scale mentally disabled and information form as instruments to collect data on the sample an estimated 106 families with a disabled child another childAccordingly, the study found the existence of a correlation between the presence of a disabled child in the family and psychological pressure on the parents and ordinary brothers and that disability that will be affected on academic achievement for them and the type and severity of disability would also affect the sharpness and intensity of stress for children and hence on academic achievement, and we concluded that the parents are not affected by the intensity of their pressure and the type of disability Once the existence of a disability is a sufficient reason for the existence of this pressure.
