Abstract

The communication between the couple is considered one of the major topics that reflect marital stability. Although many research has been carried out in the field of marital relations, the activation of this amount of knowledge on the subject of this contact remained neglected in the tests that measure it, so the survey was adopted mainly on collecting data through interviews only. Thus, this work aims at designing a test for the marital communication that goes with the Algerian environment. This approach was implemented based on six (6) principles: characteristics and skills of the spouse as the sender, and the characteristics and skills of the spouse as a recipient, the message and its content concerning the marital communication so that to define its form and canal, and the goal of the marital communication. This approach is made apparent through each dimension of the six dimensions, on the effectiveness of the marital communication when applying all dimensions combined. It also reveals marital communication as understood by both husband and wife, and standing on the strengths and weaknesses of the dimensions of the connection between the couple and the aspects and positions and causing problems where, in order to facilitate the diagnostic process and explains the content of the training and Wiggly counselling and treating methods.
