الملخص
Abstract This article is a study on the role played by interpreters who, throughout history, have been indispensable mediators between speakers of different languages. Indeed, their role has always been key in order to ensure communication between human beings. Interpreters have enjoyed special status, as different and varied as peoples and languages, given this very role played in the political, military and commercial sphere and their contribution to the diffusion of languages and religions. This article also addresses the various stages of the development of interpretation in terms of time and space with a special focus on Paris Peace Conference marking, with the emergence of the most important international organizations and bodies between the two world wars and the creation of their own interpretation services, the beginning of interpretation as a profession. Over time, simultaneous interpretation, identified with the "Nuremberg" trials, made its appearance and became the favorite type of interpretation for many international organizations that hold meetings in different languages given the shortened time and the number of working languages it offers at the same time يتناول هذا المقال دراسة تاريخية حول الدور الأساسي الذي اضطلع به الترجمان عبر التاريخ بصفته وسيطا لا غنى عنه بين المتحدثين بلغات مختلفة قصد تحقيق عملية الاتصال والتواصل بين بني البشر. هذا الدور أكسب الترجمان مكانة خاصة، تباينت بتباين الشعوب واللغات، بالنظر إلى ما لعبه من دور في المجال السياسي والعسكري والتجاري وإلى إسهامه في نشر اللغات والديانات. كما يتناول هذا المقال مختلف مراحل تطور الترجمة الشفهية من حيث الزمان والمكان، مسلطين الضوء على مؤتمر باريس للسلام باعتباره أهم بوادر تنظيم مهنة الترجمة الشفهية التي باتت، بظهور أهمّ الهيئات الدولية خلال الحربين العالميتين واستحداث مصالحها للترجمة،حرفة ومهنة مستقلة بذاتها. وبمرور الوقت ظهرت الترجمة الفورية، التي اقترن تاريخ ميلادها بمحاكمات "نورنبيرغ"،حيثباتت الصيغة المفضّلة لدى العديد من المنظمات الدولية التي تعقد اجتماعاتها بلغات مختلفة بالنظر إلى اختصارها للوقت وتمكينها من استعمال العديد من لغات العمل في الوقت نفسه.
