The theme of fate and destiny in Islam is the sixth of the pillars of faith. People have alwaysargued about this subject, and it became the center of interest in all religions and sects and philosophies.Il this small work we are neither going to study this subject from a philosophical point of view nor arguing about the predestination. In fact, we are going to study it from a pure religious perspective, as Allah says in the Quran “no calamity befalls on the earth or in yourselves but is inscribed in the book of decrees, before we bring it into existence, verily that is easy for Allah. That you may neither grieve over that (good) which is lost to you, no exult because of that which He has granted you. Allah has no love for all those who are haughty and boastful” Al Hadid 22-23. And as it is in the Hadith of Imran ibn Hussien that the prophet “peace be on him” said:“there was Allah and nothing were. And his throne was on water, and he wrote in the book everything and he created the heavens and the earth” narrated by El Bukhari, book of predestination. It has confused some people the matter of the pre-writing in Allah’s eternal knowledge, so they surrendered to what is written in the book and considered it an inevitable fate, and so nothing that one can do, since everything is set long before mankind was created. And of course this is a morbid understanding to the predestination. Here, given the real confusion on the subject, which the article tries to answer to, that understanding that does not distinguish between the knowledge viz news and disclosure of everything in the eternal knowledge of Allah that He has told us in order to believe in Him,as Allah says in Sourate Al Hajj, verse 70 : “Do you not know that knows whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth? Surely this in a book, and, indeed, this is easy for Allah”. This knowledge is proper for Allah, He is above everything and he knows matters before they happened, and this from the perfection of His divinity and lordship.Allah The Clement did not want a forced man, otherwise why make his mind and gave him the ability and the will and choice and ordered him and forbade him and sent him prophets and revealed to him the books and spoke to him and cost him? The meaning of the guidance, Allah guides some of them to the right path and misguides the others, which is the argument of some ignorant. They didn’t understand the meaning of general guidance and proper guidance. As for the meaning of “He guides whom He wills and leads astray whom He who adhered” to by some prodigals themselves do not understand it within the generalQuranic context, is subject to public guidance andprivate guidance; thus public guidance is theguiding significancethat Allahthe Merciful made for all his creation, and so he gave them the mind that distinguishes between benefit and harm, and between good and evil, and sent prophets and messengers and had their hands on the paranormal that indicate they are messengers of Him, and revealed books that guide to the right; and the most recent, the Quran the timeless miracle. And so, the one that ratifiesthese messengers, Allah opens his chest and his heart for pure guidance; a guiding faith and empowerment. And the one that doesn’t believe these messengers from the beginning, Allah will not provide him with this special guidance because he refused to general guidance. The examples in this are: Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him who believed the Prophet so Allah opened chest to faith, and Abu Lahab, who didn’t believe the Prophet so Allah did not enable him to special guidance because it rejected the general guidance, as He says: “As far Thamud, we gave them guidance, but they preferred misguidance to guidance so the scourge of the humiliating punishment seized them on account of the deeds they had done” Sourate Fussilat verse 17. Indeed, Allah never oppress people, He is needlessto the creation, but the people who are rejectingthe right path by their own choice and they fall in poor suffering because of the doing of their hands, Allah says: “Allah does not oppress the people nothing but people wrong themselves”Sourate Yunus, verse 44. In light of the foregoing, we understand also the verse: “And We sent no messenger but ( he spoke) in the language of his people so that he might make (all our messages) clear to them, then Allah misleads whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And he is All-Mighty, the All-Wise” Sourate Ibrahim verse 4. Therefore, their guidance or misguidance is ruled by their position towards their messengers, and the Almighty said: “but when they deviated from the right course, Allah let their hearts deviate, for Allah guides no transgressing people to success” Sourate As-Saff, part of verse 5. And so on, we understand the degrees of the predestination in the Islamic doctrine, namely: Allah’sknowledge preceded all the things before they were created, and Allah wrote and assessed as how things are, and He willed how matters would be, and all the creation are from Him, thus from Him comes the creation and the supply, for He created matter and time and space and the human mind and gave him energy, and in the way that human channels this energy to the act, reviles the choiceand the freedom, and upon that there is a penalty. Allah doesn’t oppress human, thus He doesn’t punish himfor what he doesn’t do, and earns him with his freedom as stated in the verse: “Every soul stands pledged for his own deeds” Soutare Al-Tur part from verse 21, He also says: “He who does good, does it for his own soul and he who does evil shall befall him. For, after all you will be brought back to your Lord.” Sourate Al-jathiya verse 15. In the Islamic doctrine, the predestination may be invoked as an excuse that benefits the owner if he did a sin and repented of it and leave the recidivism, and if someone reproaches him, he says:Allah has projected it and I ask forgiveness of Allah for what had happened, and hereby, he speaks truth and honesty and therefore discharged from strabismus and strength. And this saying is evidence of the belief of the knowledge of Allahto all matters since eternitybefore the creation of everything. But it must not be invoked as much in the in the present and in the future like the one resides in sin or leaves the orders, then say this written in my destiny and thereis no escape from it, because he does not know the unseen, and the likesof that who lasts into sin and use it to make excuses correcting his bad behavior, and does not want to leave the sins, because Shara forbade quitting work and staying on what Allah wrote in eternity.
