Health remains a universal human right, and corruption deprives many citizens of easy access to health care. Corruption has spread in the field of health, and its manifestations have multiplied, occurring in the field of granting public contracts, as well as in employment in positions based on merit and entitlement. As a general result, the authorities developed a strategy to combat corruption in the health system a decade ago, but the effectiveness of what this strategy brought about remains conditional on the intensification of the efforts of all those in charge of the rest of the sectors in order to put an end to the phenomenon of corruption that has violated the human right to health
