Degree Of Psychological Stress In Parents Of Autistic Children And Its Relationship With Some Demographic Variables

Abstract
Abstract: This study aimed to identify the degree of psychological stress in parents of autistic children and its relationship with some demographic variables. The researcher adopted a descriptive approach as the most appropriate approach for this type of study, using a tool represented in the Parental Stress Questionnaire (P.S.Q) developed by Feinstein et al. (1993) to measure the index of perceived stress. The study sample consisted of 60 fathers and mothers of autistic children who were present in the psychological and educational centers of the states of Setif, Bordj Bou Arreridj, and Constantine. The results of the study showed that there is a difference in the level of psychological stress in parents of autistic children. Keywords: Stress; Psychological Stress; Parents of Autistic Children; Demographic Variables. ملخص هدفت الدراسة للتعرف إلى درجة الضغوطات النفسية لأولياء أمور الأطفال التوحديين وعلاقتها ببعض المتغيرات الديمغرافية (الجنس، مستوى الدخل، المستوى التعليمي)، وقد اعتمد الباحث في هذه الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي باعتباره المنهج المناسب لمثل هذه الدراسات، مستخدما في ذلك أداة تمثلت في مقياس الضغط النفسي لأولياء أمور الأطفال التوحديين (P.S.Q)من إعداد لفينستاين وآخرون (1993) بهدف قياس مؤشر إدراك الضغط النفسي، حيث تمثلت عينة الدراسة في 60 أبا وأما لأطفال توحديين متواجدين بالمراكز النفسية التربوية لولايات (سطيف، برج بوعريريج، قسنطينة) تم اختيارهم بطريقة قصدية خلال الموسم الدراسي (2022/2023) وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى أنه يوجد اختلاف في مستوى الضغوط النفسية لأولياء أمور الأطفال التوحديين تعزى لبعض المتغيرات الديمغرافية المتمثلة في الجنس، مستوى الدخل والمستوى التعليمي، وقد خلصت الدراسة بتقديم مجموعة من التوصيات في ضوء هذه النتائج. الكلمات المفتاحية: الضغوط-الضغوطات النفسية -أولياء أمور الأطفال التوحديين- المتغيرات الديمغرافية. L'étude visait à identifier le degré de stress psychologique chez les parents d'enfants autistes et sa relation avec certaines variables démographiques (sexe, niveau de revenu, niveau d'éducation). Le chercheur a utilisé une méthodologie descriptive car elle convient à ce type d'étude, en utilisant l'outil qui représente l'échelle de stress psychologique chez les parents d'enfants autistes (P.S.Q) élaborée par Levinstein et al. (1993) afin de mesurer l'indice de perception du stress psychologique. L'échantillon de l'étude était composé de 60 parents d'enfants autistes présents dans les centres psychopédagogiques des wilayas de Sétif, Bouira et Constantine, sélectionnés de manière intentionnelle pendant l'année scolaire (2022/2023). Les résultats de l'étude ont montré qu'il existe une différence dans le niveau de stress psychologique chez les parents d'enfants autistes attribuable à certaines variables démographiques telles que le sexe, le niveau de revenu et le niveau d'éducation. L'étude a conclu en proposant plusieurs recommandations à la lumière de ces résultats. Mots clés: stress, stress psychologique, parents d'enfants autistes, variables démographique
