Interpol’s Contribution In Extradition

Abstract
INTERPOL is the only agency with the authority and technological abilities to exchange police information all over the world. INTERPOL is an intergovernmental organization that promotes worldwide police cooperation. It is in charge, among other things, of transmitting worldwide notices and requests for information pertaining to specific criminal behavior from one police department to its counterparts throughout the world. Extradition is possible when nations have excellent ties and treaties. If the asking nation and the requested country do not have a previous extradition treaty, the requesting government may request arrest by resorting to INTERPOL whose goal is to locate or apprehend someone wanted by a judicial authority or an international tribunal in order to extradite them. الإنتربول هو الوكالة الوحيدة التي تتمتع بالسلطة والقدرات التكنولوجية لتبادل المعلومات الشرطية في جميع أنحاء العالم، فهو منظمة حكومية دولية تعمل على تعزيز التعاون الشرطي في جميع الدول وهي مسؤولة، من بين أمور أخرى، عن إرسال الإشعارات العالمية وطلبات الحصول على معلومات تتعلق بسلوك إجرامي محدد من إدارة شرطة إلى نظيراتها في جميع أنحاء العالم. تسليم المجرمين ممكن عندما يكون لدى الدول علاقات ومعاهدات ممتازة، وإذا لم يكن لدى الدولة الطالبة والدولة المطلوب منها معاهدة تسليم سابقة، يجوز للحكومة الطالبة أن تطلب الاعتقال عن طريق اللجوء إلى الإنتربول الذي يكون هدفه تحديد مكان أو القبض على شخص مطلوب من قبل سلطة قضائية أو محكمة دولية من أجل تسليمه.
